The Editor's Bit

The football season is over, which means we finally know who has finished top of our Premiership Predictions League. It was a tie for first place this season, so joint winners Jim and Marianne can hold their heads high and bask in the glory. Sorry we haven't got any prizes; maybe next season.

I'll put the entry form for the coming season in next month's Stun, but I'm still struggling with ideas of how to automate the form on the Stun website. Can any of our readers help me out by building a PHP/MySQL solution that can process entries and maintain an up-to-date league table of our contestants? All offers of help will be greatly appreciated.

I've been working on a complete make-over of the Stun website and it's getting close to completion. I won't go into any details yet, but keep an eye on the Stun Facebook group for an announcement very soon.

We were hoping to bring you a sneak peek inside Case from the Waterhole's latest venture, but I haven't made it there yet. He's taken over the former Club Meander on Voetboogstraat and is in the process of converting it into a Pool Bar. If all goes to plan, "The Poolhole" will be opening in August. We'll have more details for you in next month's Stun.

I'm sure there's something else I was going to write about, but I can't remember what it was, so I'll just say "Enjoy your Stun".
