The Editor's Bit

I thought most of our readers were bar flies, but judging by the entries we got for last month's crossword puzzle, a lot of you like a nice cup of tea too. Loads of you e-mailed the correct answer (Let's All Wish For A Long, Hot Summer), but only one could win the prize of a two month supply of tea from British General Stores. Congratulations Glenys Emblem, your name was first out of the hat. I'll contact you about your prize.

The May crossword was a bit of a stinker and we didn't get any entries, so nobody won the bottle of whisky donated by London Bridge English Pub. Don't worry, the prize hasn't been lost; you've got another chance to win it this month. So, get puzzling and send your answer in; you've got to be in it to win it.

Even though the start of the Premier League season is still five weeks away, it's time to start thinking about entering our Premier Predictions League.
