The Editor's Bit

It’s nine o’clock on Friday morning and as soon as I finish this column, the February edition of the Amsterdam Stun will be on its way to the printers. Now, what to write about?

I might as well start with what we’ve got for you in this month’s Stun. For starters, we’ve got a great prize for the winner of this month’s crossword - a €30 voucher to spend on food &/or drinks in Coco’s Outback! Let’s hope we see loads of entries this month.

Last month, we invited you to send in your Valentine messages for publication in the Stun. Take a look on page 5 to find out if somebody has sent one in for you.

We usually have a single ‘One Night In...’ page in the Stun, but this month, Susie’s Saloon, the Flying Dutchman, CC Muziekcafé and Maloe Melo all get the ‘One Night’ treatment, starting on page 18. All the photos in Around Leidseplein on page 8 were taken in one night too.

Elly tells you how I got a new bike-box in Tales from the Gutter, Frank writes about football in Being Frank on Football, we’ve got gigs listed in the Gig-List, jokes on the Jokes page and loads of other photos from around the bars of Amsterdam.

OK, nearly finished, but now I’m starting to think about how I’m going to get the Stuns round the bars this evening. Bike or walk? I’ll decide later, enjoy your Stun.
