The Editor's Bit

I’ll start this month’s column with something that’s happening next month: Elly’s 60th Birthday! Don’t tell Elly, but I’m planning a surprise party for her in Molly Malone’s on Sunday 16th June, starting around 4pm, and you’re invited. Snacks will be provided but you have to buy your own drinks. Let me know if you’re coming so that I can give Molly’s a rough idea of how many they have to cater for.

If any of our musician friends would like to come along and play, I know it will make Elly’s day. We can’t pay you, but I’m sure nobody would object if you take a hat (or bucket) round for tips.

Before that, we’ve got the Amsterdam Sevens Rugby Tournament, starting on Friday 17th May, to look forward to. I don’t know if I’ll make it to the rugby grounds in Geuzenveld yet, but it’s just as much fun when everybody hits the bars in the evening, especially Café Corso and Susie’s Saloon, so I’ll definitely be out and about in the Red Light District with my camera this weekend.

Enough of what’s coming up, what have we got for you in this month’s Stun?
