The Editor's Bit

Another Stun out near the beginning of the month and what a bumper edition it is, with 36 pages of photos, music, football and fun. We already had plenty of pictures from parties and other fun around town, but we couldn’t let the start of the smoking ban in bars pass by without doing something special, could we! I was going to do a write-up about what we can and can’t do if we want to have a smoke with our drink, but while I was researching it, I took so many pictures of people having a last smoke, there’s no room for the write-up. The smoking pictures cover 10 pages and just for good measure, there’s a page of smoke jokes in addition to the regular jokes page.

The new football season starts next month, which means it’s time to start thinking about our Premiership Predictions League. If you fancy your chances, there’s an entry form on page 33 or you can fill it out on our. It’s not there yet, but it will be soon.

Our resident football expert Frank hasn’t done too well in the PPL over the last few years, but he’s on form now. Read his Euro2008 review in this month’s Being Frank on Football; in August, he will reveal his predictions for the new season.
