The Editor's Bit

It doesn’t seem like I’ve been out much since the last Stun came out, but I could be mistaken because I had no problem filling the pages with pictures I took around the bars in July.

After a busy 11 days of putting the Stun together, delivering it and celebrating my birthday in between (see page 21), I took a rest the following weekend... and forgot about Klaas’ 60th birthday party. I found out later that there wasn’t a stripper, so I wasn’t too upset about missing it. Yvonne sent us a couple of pictures she took with her phone, but... no stripper.

I did make it to a musician’s birthday jam session and took loads of pictures, but you’ll have to look hard to find any in this Stun; I’m sworn to secrecy over the location.

There’s nothing secret about the Tuesday jam sessions I went to (see pages 8 & 9), in fact, the more the merrier.

For some of the pictures, I didn’t even have to leave home; the people came to us. Elly tells you all about that in Tales from the Gutter.

The new football season is upon us, which means it’s time for Frank to gaze into his crystal football and come up with his predictions for the coming Premier League campaign in Being Frank on Football.
