The Editor's Bit

At this time last year, I put in an appeal for you to send in pictures of New Year’s Eve because I wasn’t going to be around with my camera. We didn’t get a huge response, but that’s not going to stop me asking you again, because I’m not going to trawl the bars this year either. Please send in pictures that we can use in the next Stun. You can send them to me by e-mail or post them on our Facebook page and I will include as many as possible. You’ll be rewarded by being named as one of our contributors and the fame that goes with it.

Even though I won’t be going out, you can find my pick of the best New Year’s Eve Parties on page 12, although wherever you go in Amsterdam on the 31st, you can’t help but have a good time. In my opinion, it’s the best night of the year, but I’m biased; it’s the night Elly and myself got together 16 years ago.

Last year’s Christmas puzzle didn’t get a single entry, but we expect that to change this time round. Read more about it in Tales from the Gutter; the puzzle is in the centre pages.

The answer to last month’s puzzle was “A laugh a day keeps the burnout at bay” and we’re doing our best to help you with 4½ pages of jokes and humour in this Christmas Stun.

Thank you to all the people who contributed to the Stun over the last year; to them, and all our readers, I wish you a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
