The Editor's Bit

Just when you get used to this column being on page 6, after years on the inside front cover, I go and move it even further from the beginning. It’s only for this month, because by putting the King’s Day pictures where they are, I can squeeze a lot more photos on the other pages, and we know you like photos.

Even though we take loads of photos every month, Elly or myself can’t be everywhere, so it’s always nice when readers send in photos of things we missed out on. Excalibur manager Zadok sent us one of him and Skip wearing remarkable matching shirts.

We also received some beer-mat portraits drawn by Mr. Silver many years ago. They’re on page 5; how many can you recognise?
