The Editor's Bit

It’s less than four weeks since I last sat here writing this column and if all goes well, this Stun will be in bars by the second weekend of the month. Haven’t done that since April!

For this month’s cover, we wanted something that related to August. Ideas included the Uitmarkt and Grachtenfestival, but we settled for Pluk De Nacht, a free open-air film festival, because they were building up the site when I went to the dentist for a check-up last week, and it’s on the street where we live. We couldn’t leave it with just the cover, so we’ve included the films they’ll be showing in the Stun Gig-List. They only announced the program on Sunday 3rd August, so I’m glad I managed to get it in.

All you puzzle fans will be pleased to hear that the Prize Crossword is back, with a meal for two at Molly Malone’s up for grabs.
