Was my question about last month’s cover difficult or does nobody read this column? Only one person gave me an answer, but she wasn’t close enough, so no honourable mention. I was actually standing by the cheese shop at the start of Haarlemmerstraat.

Let’s have another go this month, although I think this one may be more difficult: Name the street on this month’s cover! The first person who gives me the correct answer gets an honourable mention next month.

If you prefer more tangible prizes, there are two jugs of beer from Susie’s Saloon to be won in this month’s crossword and we are now open for entries to our Premier Predictions League, where 2 x €30 vouchers from Coco’s Outback are up for grabs. We had a few problems with early entries going astray last year, but I think I got all the bugs out of the system, so it should go better this time. Just in case it doesn’t, I will send a confirmation e-mail within three days of receiving an entry; if you don’t hear from me by the closing date of Friday 14th August, get in contact with me and I’ll make sure you are still included in the Premier Predictions League.

Sorry about the late appearance of last month’s Stun; an unfortunate series of circumstances conspired to leave me twiddling my thumbs much longer than usual, so I’ll use the overnight service to get this one printed, just in case. Enjoy your Stun!
