The Editor's Bit

It’s December, so I’ve got to put a Christmas tree on the cover! I won’t insult your intelligence by asking for the location of the tree; it was last year’s tree on Dam Square! Instead, for this month’s Cover Competition, I want you to tell me where this year’s tree on Dam Square came from. As I write this, the tree hasn’t been put up yet, so I don’t know the answer myself, but I’m sure the city council will announce it in a press release soon.

As it’s the festive season, I’ll do my best to get a real prize for this month’s Cover Competition from one of our sponsors (Would anybody like to donate a prize? I’ll thank you profusely in next month’s Stun!). When I know what prize(s) we get offered, I’ll post it to the Stun’s Facebook Page & Group. In addition to any physical prizes, there will also be Honourable Mentions for correct entries.

Bernie has retired from working behind the bar in Molly Malone’s, again! I was there for his last shift and I’ll be there when Bernie has another retirement party in January.

This month’s Stun has got photos from anniversary, birthday, leaving, opening and re-opening parties, along with all of our usual stuff, so enjoy your Stun and I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
